Give every campus its own row
Write the full campus and degree name in your planner. “BITS” alone is not enough to identify a programme. Save the relevant programme description and admissions notice beside the row.
Use the current official admissions portal to check the route and conditions that apply to you. BITSAT is part of the usual admissions route, while the institution's current documentation determines programme-specific details and any alternative channels.
Compare the course you would actually study
For each campus-and-programme combination, collect the curriculum, compulsory subjects, elective arrangements, and academic policy. If a possible change of degree or a dual-degree arrangement matters to your decision, verify its conditions rather than relying on a friend's experience from another year.
Ask whether the academic features you care about belong to that exact programme and campus. A well-written comparison should distinguish “documented” from “I would like to ask about this.”
Build the same cost model for all three
Use a current fee schedule and the same time period for each option. Include academic charges, housing, food, travel, and required equipment. Note scholarship assumptions separately from confirmed awards.
Travel can be a practical difference even when academic priorities are similar. Plan the journeys you expect to make and label fares as estimates until you have actual quotes. Do not infer that one campus is automatically more affordable from its location.

After filling the table, write your preference reason in one sentence. If the reason depends on an unknown policy or cost, resolve that question before treating the comparison as complete.
Put dates beside your evidence
This guide uses the 2026 brochure as a reference, not as a calendar for a later intake. Fee schedules and academic rules can have their own applicable years. Record those separately and update them when your cycle's documents are available.
You can compare the three campuses' locations and common route in GradeToGrad's India explorer. Use the complete engineering-budget worksheet to collect your own verified amounts.
